When considering office chairs, it won't due to settle on
something cheap, bulky or horrifically uncomfortable. No, conference chairs
have to fit several criteria in order to be considered quality and worth their
investment.
- Comfort- Conference chairs do not need to plush or lushly stuffed. They do, however, need to be comfortable enough for people to sit in for a few hours without suffering from back pain or neck strain. They should be at a height where most people could be expected to keep notes in their lap, without their feet dangling and should be tall enough for the average person to be able to see the podium or stage without straining.
- Durability- Conference chairs that are not going to withstand thousands of backsides utilising them over a reasonable period of time are a total waste of money. For one thing, if it collapses under a client, you are looking at a great deal of embarrassment at the least. For another, having to replace chair after chair from normal wear and tear is just a financial sink-hole for any institution. Regardless of what materials you prefer your conference chairs to be manufactured from, make sure that the build and design is very sturdy and will endure long-term use and storage.
- Style- Style is not always the most important issue when it comes to venues but it is certainly important enough to give some thought to. Conference chairs, like anything else your venue offers, need to reflect your company’s style, attention to detail and commitment to fine service. Choose chairs that do all of these things. You don’t want your clients feeling like they are at a conference in a low-class place.
- Storability - the chairs you purchase need to be able to be moved efficiently and stored in a space conserving way. In other words, you are going to want stackable chairs. Many different kinds of styles offer this type of storage so it is usually a matter of picking from a large selection. Still, make sure before you buy hundreds of them, that they will stack up and come apart easily.
