Does Led Grow Lights Make Cannabis Cultivation Growing Better?

It is often claimed by the lawful growers and breeders of herbal cannabis that advances in breeding and cultivation techniques have increased the potency of cannabis. Advanced cultivation techniques such as hydroponics, cloning, high-intensity artificial lighting, and the sea of green method are frequently employed as a response (in part) to prohibition enforcement efforts that make outdoor cultivation more risky. It is often cited that the average levels of THC in cannabis sold in United States rose dramatically between the 1970s and 2000, but such statements are likely skewed because of undue weight given to much more expensive and potent, but less prevalent samples. The average THC level in coffee shops in the Netherlands is currently about 18–19%, but new regulations adopted by the Dutch government in 2011 will force the THC content of cannabis sold in coffee shops to be limited to 15%, stating that cannabis in excess of 15% THC will be reclassified as a hard drug. These new regulations take effect in 2012.
Marijuana plants require a very specific type of light to grow. Experiments show LED Grow Lights is appropriate for marijuana growing. For patients who need medical marijuana, the progress of LED grow lights has been closely watched. LED grow lights have exploded in the last few years with more advanced versions seeming to appear monthly. But amongst marijuana growers there is heated debate on the subject, with traditionalists yet to be converted to the new technology. The lights, which promise greater energy efficiency and lower heat than their high pressure sodium and metal halide cousins, have gained increasing visibility in the cannabis community.

LED grow lights are electric lights comprised of light-emitting diodes (LEDs). These lights provide an electromagnetic color spectrum specially suited for marijuana growing indoors. LED grow lights mimic the bluish color of natural sunlight, and provide marijuana with the light necessary for the process of photosynthesis. Moreover, LEDs do not emit as much heat as sunlight and other forms of lights, and therefore plants grown under LED grow lights require less water.

LED grow lights efficiently provide light in the spectrum most beneficial for marijuana growing. While grow lights may also use incandescent or fluorescent light bulbs, the LED grow light is unique. It produces much less heat that the other lights, and boasts a longer life cycle while consuming less energy. However, LED grow lights are usually more expensive to purchase than its incandescent and fluorescent counterparts, due to the complexity of the LED light circuitry.

From the above descriptions, LED Grow Lights for the growth of marijuana, growers and breeders can have a try for your marijuana.
